Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Vocational School of Health Services held the 2024-2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony with great enthusiasm. At the ceremony, which started at 09:00 on Thursday, May 29, 2025, the academic staff, administrative personnel, graduating students, and their families came together. The ceremony continued with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, followed by the viewing of the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University promotional video. In the opening speeches, Head of the Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation Dr. Lecturer Nehir Uçar, Head of the Department of Dentistry Services Dr. Lecturer Zerin Yeşil Acar, Head of the Department of Medical Services and Techniques Dr. Lecturer Belgin Dilmen, and Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Taşdemir took the floor. Congratulations and wishes for success directed at the students were at the forefront of the speeches.

2024-2025 College valedictorian, Therapy and Rehabilitation Department Physiotherapy Program valedictorian was Şefika KABAKUŞAK, while the 2024-2025 College salutatorian was Dentistry Services Department Oral and Dental Health Program valedictorian Ayşegül DURMAZ, and the 2024-2025 College third place was Medical Services and Techniques Department Anesthesia 2nd Education Program valedictorian Meral ACAR. Awards and graduation certificates were presented to the students by the College Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim TAŞDEMİR. The valedictorian Şefika KABAKUŞAK fulfilled the graduation tradition by making a short speech and nailing her name on the plaque.

Within the scope of the ceremony, the students who ranked first by successfully completing their programs also took their places on stage, and their awards were presented by the faculty members of the respective programs who were invited to the stage. The 2024-2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was the scene of emotional and enthusiastic moments. Before being invited to the stage to receive their diplomas, videos filled with memories belonging to each program, prepared by the students of that program, were shared with the audience. After this meaningful opening of the ceremony; our students who graduated from the Oral and Dental Health, Operating Room Services, Anesthesia, Physiotherapy, First and Emergency Aid, and Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics programs received their diplomas from the academic staff of the respective programs. As the students took the stage, they shared their happiness with bouquets of flowers presented by their families and friends. These special moments were accompanied by applause echoing in the hall and emotional glances. At the end of the ceremony, all graduates were invited to the stage to read the MAKÜ Oath together and to throw their caps. Counting down from 10 in unison, the cap-throwing ceremony was completed with graduation enthusiasm. Students, their families, and the academic staff experienced the pride of celebrating this meaningful day together.
