Meeting / Meeting with Class Representatives

With the participation of our School's Department Program Class Representatives, our School Director Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Halil İbrahim TAŞDEMİR, Deputy Director Öğr. Gör. Dr. Akın SÜZER, Deputy Director Öğr. Gör. Hakan KOCABAŞ, and School Secretary Mutlu IŞIK, the first class representative meeting of the 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester was held on 20.09.2024 at 11:00 in our School's meeting hall.

The managers and class representative students who attended the meeting took the floor. Our School Managers started by expressing their wish for a successful and peaceful new academic year. They talked about the services and physical facilities offered by our University and School, explaining how our students can benefit from these services. Then, each class representative student was given the floor to express any requests and complaints from our University and School, and it was conveyed to our students that the School Management is sincere about producing the most suitable solution within the existing possibilities through mutual exchange of views on these issues.

The main topics of requests from our students;

1- Lack of seating areas in the garden, insufficiency of benches.

2- Insufficiency of women's restrooms.

3- Transportation problem to student dormitories. (Especially at the exit times of II. Education Programs)

4- Request for social, sports activities and trips.

5- Improvement of laboratory facilities.

Our School Director Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Halil İbrahim TAŞDEMİR stated that the requests of our students are valid, that immediate action will be taken to meet these requests and the most suitable solution will be produced within the existing possibilities, and that he would be pleased for our students to always convey their opinions and suggestions on the solution point.

Then the meeting ended with mutual good wishes.
